Caring for Your Bamboo-Cotton Garments
Our bamboo-cotton fabrics are exceptionally soft, breathable, and comfortable. With proper care, your garment will remain beautiful for many years.
- Machine wash in cool or warm water on a gentle cycle.
- Wash with similar colours.
- Avoid bleach or harsh detergents.
- Tumble dry on low heat or hang to dry.
Because bamboo fibres are highly absorbent, larger garments can become quite heavy when wet. For this reason, prolonged hanging while soaking wet may contribute to stretching over time. Our preferred method is to tumble dry on low heat for part of the drying cycle to remove excess moisture, then finish by hanging or laying flat to dry.
Bamboo fabrics may take a little longer to dry than conventional cotton due to their absorbency. This is completely normal and one of the qualities that contributes to their comfort and softness.
A low-heat dryer is perfectly safe for our bamboo-cotton fabrics and can help maintain their shape while keeping them soft and cozy.
With a little care, your Ancient Futures garment will provide years of comfortable wear.
